.

.
Danger Danger were formed in 1987 by Bruno Ravel (bass) and Steve West (drums) and rounded out by Ted Poley (vocals) Andy Timmons (guitar) and Kasey Smith (keyboards). It didn't take long for the band to be noticed by Epic Records' Lennie Petze who signed them to his newly minted Imagine Records imprint. The self titled debut album was released in 1989 and is still today regarded as one of the classics of the “Hair Metal” genre sporting such hit singles as “Bang Bang” and “Naughty Naughty”.
.
The band followed it up in 1991 with another classic of the genre “Screw It”, which brought the band in tour with KISS and solidified Danger Danger’s place in the rock world. However fate and the change in the music climate eventually brought changes. Danger Danger recorded indeed their 3rd album “Cockroach” which wouldn’t see the light of day until eight years later as, upon completion of the album, the band parted ways with Ted Poley. Needing a replacement, friend and former Elektra recording artist, Canadian Paul Laine stepped in re-recording all the vocals but lawsuits from the departed singer, caused Sony to decide it was in their best interest to shelve the record. Eventually, the band amicably parted ways with the label.
.
In 1995 Danger Danger returned with their first independent release called “Dawn”, a dark and introspective record which reflected dark chapter the band was into. However shortly thereafter Danger Danger would return to their unique sound and original melodic rock roots releasing “Four The Hard Way” in 1998 and “The Return Of The Great Gildersleeves” in 2000. Both records were greeted with stellar reviews from critics and fans the world over, further helping cement the band's reputation.
.
After an eleven year absence, 2004 saw the return of original vocalist Ted Poley The re-united band’s first show was in front of 25,000 people at the prestigious Sweden Rock Festival. Danger Danger’s performance was hailed as one of the highlights of the three day festival, garnering rave reviews from both fans and critics alike. The following years saw Danger Danger touring again the US, Europe & Japan and keeping their fan base “hot” for the highly anticipated new album “Revolve” which is released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of their classic debut.
.
“I think it’s the best collection of songs we’ve ever assembled!” says Bruno Ravel presenting the new album. “There are no “filler” tracks. Having said that, the sound is a bit updated, yet still retro and very “Danger Danger” sounding. Anytime you hear Ted sing, you immediately think... “Hey, that’s Danger Danger!” I think it’s the best he has never sounded… on any record!”

HOUSE OF LORDS

"Cartesian Dreams"
.
Release date: 18/09/2009
Catalogue number: FR CD 426
.

.
House of Lords debuted in 1989 with the release of the self-titled album, a record which is still regarded as one of the best Arena Rock releases of the 80’s. The colossal sound, the soaring vocals of James Christian and instrumental capabilities of the band (which featured ex Angel and Giuffria Gregg Giuffria, along with such luminaries as Lanny Cordola, Chuck Wright and Ken Mary), reminiscent of such frontrunners as Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Van Halen, immediately brought the band to the attention of the media and fans. With their sophomore release entitled “Sahara”, House of Lords gained considerable chart success with their cover version of Blind Faith’s “Can't Find My Way Home”.
.
After a tour with Nelson in 1991, the group disbanded, eventually coming back together with a new lineup (only featuring original members Giuffria and Christian) in 1992 with "Demon's Down". This was a more melodic record which saw the big contribution at the songwriting helm - between others - of Mark Baker, a guy who penned a couple of years before the majority of the Signal “Loud and Clear” album, one of the most sought after gems of the Melodic Rock genre.
.
With the change of the musical climate, House of Lords went into hibernation until the original lineup came back together in 2000, releasing of the controversial “Power and the Myth” an album which featured a sound leaning more towards Progressive Hard Rock with 70’s rock influences. After a short European tour, singer James Christian decided to go back to the trademark Arena Rock sound of House Of Lords, putting together a new line-up with the blessing of founding member Gregg Giuffria, who opted out right before the release of “Power and the Myth”. New members Jimi Bell on guitars, B.J. Zampa on drums supplied a true powerhouse sound to the fifth studio album “World Upside Down”, a record which caused a real stir in the Hard Rock and Melodic Rock scene and was followed up by the equally impressive “Come to My Kingdom” in 2008.
.
House of Lords toured relentlessly Europe and the States in support to the releases and have now become a true staple between the Hard Rock crowd among the two continents. Needing a more fresh impact in the songwriting, James decided to team again with Mark Baker for the new album entitled “Cartesian Dreams”.
.
The record is just what you can expect and even more: superb hooks, majestic atmospheres that bring back the memories of the debut album, monumental guitar riffs and a production to die for. Everything in “Cartesian Dreams” shines from the first second to the last! Watch out for House of Lords touring Europe and the US in the late summer / fall 2009. "This new CD was truly a labour of love" says singer James Christian. "I was so fortunate to be able to work once again with my writing partner and friend Mark Baker. The last time Mark and I worked together was to write and record "Demons Down". We have a great chemistry when it comes to writing songs. Jimi Bell once again gave us smoking tracks and Tommy Denander also put his contribution on a few great tracks".

The songs written for the new cd offer many different flavours. "The band as usual always strives to stay true to its sound but this time around we expanded our horizons a bit without compromising the trademark sound that so many people expect from us", continues James. LABEL NEWS

Frontiers Records is excited to announce the worldwide release of the LYNCH MOB come back studio album entitled "Smoke And Mirrors" to be released on September 18th in Europe and October 13th in the USA.

After seventeen long years singer Oni Logan and guitar wizard George Lynch found their way back together and again show their amazing abilities in some killer new Hard Rock songs. "I would say this new record "Smoke and M irrors", is the record we should have put out as a follow up to "Wicked Sensation"...better late then never I guess...", says Lynch presenting the new record.Lynch Mob were formed by George Lynch, one of the few genuine guitar heroes of substance to emerge from the Los Angeles scene, after DOKKEN split up in 1989. The band's first album" Wicked Sensation" went on to sell over 500,000 units in the US and featured the talents of singer Oni Logan, Anthony Esposito on bass and another former DOKKEN member Mick Brown on drums. After a tour in support of Queensryche, Logan opted out, with Robert Mason taking his place on the follow up self titled release. However Lynch and Brown eventually returned to Dokken releasing 2 studio albums until he left again in late 1997 putting together a several new incarnations of Lynch Mob and exploring new sounds with different projects. However Oni Logan and George Lynch would found themselves again in a studio in the summer of 07. "We weren't sure what was going to happen" recalls George, "but as soon as I heard what Oni was coming up with just off the top of his head, I knew the old chemistry was still there. So we spent many months writing. The first batch of songs had almost a Southern Rock feel to them and there was quite a bit of acoustic and slide work on those. They also had a genuine 70's vibe. These first songs had elements reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac, Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Stones and it was all very bluesy. We lived with those songs for a while then went in and did a second round of collaboration. We had tightened up as a band after touring over the summer and we consciously wrote the newer material with the "Wicked Sensation" record in mind. So we updated the earlier songs a little and wrote a few more "adventurous" track and went in to start recording".

Joining the new line-up are bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Scott Coogan (Brides of Destruction, Ace Frehley). More than a band, this team is guaranteed to create one of the most explosive shows you can ever experience and shines big time on the brand new recording which is set to bring back Lynch Mob on the map of the most exciting Hard Rock bands around! "Marco Mendoza is literally a gift from Heaven" continues Lynch. "How they figured out how to stuff all that talent and goodness into one person I'll never know. they must have made a mistake at the factory! lol... then there's Scott Coogan on drums.... baby of the band.. he's very solid, very "Bonhamesque". not sure if that's a real word!""Smoke and Mirrors" tracklisting includes: "21st Century Man", "Smoke and Mirrors", "Lucky Man", "My Kind Of Healer", "Time Keepers", "Revolution Hero", "Let The Music Be Your Master", "The Fascist", "Where Do You Sleep at Night?", "Madly Backwards", "We Will Remain", "Before I Close My Eyes", "Mansions In The Sky" (Bonus Track). Lynch Mob are ready to embark on a World Tour in the fall 2009 to follow up on the successful performance at the ROCKLAHOMA 2008 and to promote "Smoke and Mirrors". "We have been expecting to go out in a support situation with a bigger act in the fall of 09 to coincide with the release of "Smoke and Mirrors" and were also expecting to visit Europe as well. It's been way too long since I've played Europe and we need to tour there extensively... last time Lynch Mob toured Europe was with Queensryche... and I think that was 1991!" concludes George Lynch. LABEL NEWS

Frontiers Records is truly excited to announce the European release on September 18th 2009 of the highly anticipated DANGER DANGER new album "Revolve" ! The new album coincides with the 20th anniversary of the classic self titled debut release for Imagine Records, a record that went on to become gold, spanning two US hit singles with the songs "Naughty Naughty" e "Bang Bang". In just a few years, also on the strength of the follow up "Screw It", Danger Danger became one of the most popular bands in the Melodic Hard Rock scene, touring with the likes of KISS, Extreme, Alice Cooper and Warrant among others.

However fate and the change in the music climate eventually brought changes. Danger Danger recorded indeed their 3rd album "Cockroach" which wouldn't see the light of day until eight years later as, upon completion of the album, the band parted ways with Ted Poley. Needing a replacement, friend and former Elektra recording artist, Canadian Paul Laine stepped in re recording all the vocals but lawsuits from the departed singer, caused Sony to decide it was in their best interest to shelve the record. Eventually, the band amicably parted ways with the label. In 1995 Danger Danger returned with their first independent release called "Dawn", a dark and introspective record which reflected dark chapter the band was into. However shortly thereafter Danger Danger would return to their unique sound and original melodic rock roots releasing "Four The Hard Way" in 1998 and "The Return Of The Great Gildersleeves" in 2000. Both records were greeted with stellar reviews from critics and fans the world over, further helping cement the band's reputation. After an eleven year absence, original vocalist Ted Poley returned to the band in 2004. The re-united band's first show was in front of 25,000 people at the prestigious Sweden Rock Festival. Danger Danger's performance was hailed as one of the highlights of the three day festival, garnering rave reviews from both fans and critics alike. The following years saw Danger Danger touring again the US, Europe & Japan and keeping their fan base "hot" waiting for the release of the brand new album "It feels natural to have Ted back in the band", says founding member and bass player Bruno Ravel, "it has been like when we recorded our first album, so it was just a matter of getting to work and getting the best performances out of him and of all the other guys in the band. In retrospect I can say we managed to reach our goals, as I feel that Revolve is the best collection of songs we've ever assembled! There are no "filler" tracks. Having said that, the sound is a bit updated, yet still retro and very "Danger Danger" sounding. Anytime you hear Ted sing, you immediately think... "Hey, that's Danger Danger!" and I think he has never sounded this good on any of our records!"

Danger Danger plans to tour heavily in the fall 09 and winter 2010 in support of the new album. "We know this record was long overdue and we are aware that our label Frontiers received a lot of letters asking asking "Where is the new Danger Danger CD? Why is it taking so long?" continues Bruno, "I did become a father for the first time some 15 months ago and it was a major life change and a huge adjustment for me to concentrate on this album and tend to my family's needs at the same time. I know that's no excuse, because we should have had the record finished before then, but that was my end of the hold up. I only hope that after listening to the new album, you'll all feel it was worth the wait and we're all set up to come and rock you wherever you may be !" "Revolve" tracklisting includes: "That's What I'm Talking About", "Ghost of Love", "Killin' Love", "Hearts On The Highway", "Fugitive", "Keep On Keepin' On", "Rocket To Your Heart", "F.U.$.", "Beautiful Regret", "Never Give Up", "Dirty Mind".
Danger Danger 2009 are: Ted Poley (vocals), Bruno Ravel (bass), Steve West (drums) and Rob Marcello (guitars).
